After the harpy Ethel Meyerlinkh saved her from her would-be captor, they discovered that their interests aligned for an easy deal:
The clone needed a hiding place far away from Dr. Morag, and Ethel needed a helping hand for running her overseas business while she's working in Anvil Flats.

And so (after a crash course in all the ways you can cook an egg), the clone ended up as the new face at Ethel's Egg-Imbiss in Gernsbeck, Germany.

She decided to keep the name of her DNA donor, albeit with a difference in spelling in order to establish her individuality.
